1. Scope of This Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all paid services offered by Mobilityregen, including but not limited to:
- Motion technique workshops held at our Bridge Road hub
- Seasonal riding challenge program registrations with associated fees
- Private group ride coordination services
- Educational product purchases made through our platform
- Any other program or service for which a participation fee is explicitly disclosed before registration
This policy does not apply to free cycling meetups, social rides, or informational content available on mobilityregen.world without charge. It should be read alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
2. Free Programs
The majority of cycling meetups organised by Mobilityregen are free to attend. No registration fee is required for Saturday Social Loops, Tempo Rides, Trail Explorer sessions, New Rider Orientations, or Evening City Circuits unless otherwise stated in the event description.
Because no payment is collected for free programs, refunds are not applicable. If you register interest and are unable to attend, no financial obligation arises. We appreciate advance notice of non-attendance so that ride leaders can plan group sizes accordingly.
3. Paid Programs and Workshops
Paid programs are those for which a participation fee is disclosed and collected before confirmation. Current paid offerings may include:
- Technique workshops: Individual workshop sessions at the Bridge Road hub, typically priced per session or as a four-week series package.
- Seasonal challenge programs: Quarterly programs with structured milestones and community recognition, subject to a registration fee.
- Private group coordination: Custom ride planning and facilitation for organisations, priced based on group size and route complexity.
All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) where required. Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and credit card as specified in the registration confirmation.
4. Cancellation by Mobilityregen
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any paid program due to insufficient registration, facilitator unavailability, extreme weather conditions, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
When we cancel a paid program:
- You will receive a full refund of all fees paid for the cancelled program within fourteen business days.
- Alternatively, you may choose to transfer your registration to the next available session of the same program at no additional cost.
- Notification of cancellation will be sent to your registered email address at least forty-eight hours before the scheduled start time, except in cases of emergency where shorter notice is unavoidable.
If a program is rescheduled rather than cancelled, you may attend the new date or request a full refund within seven days of receiving the rescheduling notice.
5. Cancellation by Participant
If you wish to cancel your registration for a paid program, the following timeframes and refund amounts apply:

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via our contact form or by email to hello@mobilityregen.world. The date of receipt by our team determines the applicable refund tier.
6. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following additional circumstances at our discretion:
- Duplicate payment: If you are charged twice for the same program registration, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full within five business days of notification.
- Program material change: If the content, duration, or facilitator of a paid program changes substantially from what was advertised at the time of your registration, you may request a full refund within seven days of being notified of the change.
- Documented personal circumstances: If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen personal circumstances supported by documentation, we may offer a credit toward a future program or a partial refund. Each request is assessed individually. Approval is not automatic.
- Technical failure: If a paid online informational session cannot be delivered due to a technical failure on our end, a full refund or complimentary rescheduling will be offered.
7. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- Administrative fees explicitly identified as non-refundable at the time of purchase
- Third-party costs incurred on your behalf, such as venue hire deposits or permit fees for private group rides
- Digital educational products after the download link has been accessed or the content has been delivered
- Programs where you have attended one or more sessions of a multi-session series, except as required by the Australian Consumer Law
- Registrations transferred to another participant — the original registrant cannot claim a refund after transfer
8. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed as follows:
- Method: Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Bank transfer refunds are processed to the originating account.
- Timeline: Refunds are initiated within fourteen business days of approval. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional five to ten business days for the refund to appear in your account.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been processed, including the refund amount and expected arrival timeframe.
- Currency: All refunds are issued in Australian Dollars (AUD). If your payment was made in a different currency, the refund amount may be affected by exchange rate fluctuations determined by your payment provider.

9. Australian Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to consumer guarantees that services will be provided with acceptable care and skill, be fit for any specified purpose, and be delivered within a reasonable time.
If a paid program fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy including repair, replacement, or refund. Major failures entitle you to cancel the service and receive a full refund. To exercise your ACL rights, contact us with a description of the issue and your requested remedy.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and obtain a refund. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods.
10. Chargebacks and Disputes
We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve the matter with our team may result in suspension of your registration privileges.
We will cooperate with payment providers during chargeback investigations and provide relevant registration and attendance records. If a chargeback is found to be invalid, we reserve the right to pursue recovery of the disputed amount and associated fees.
11. Program Transfers
As an alternative to cancellation, you may transfer your paid program registration to another person or to a future session of the same program, subject to the following conditions:
- Transfer requests must be submitted at least seven days before the program start date.
- The recipient must meet any eligibility requirements for the program (e.g., age, experience level).
- One transfer per registration is permitted at no additional charge. Subsequent transfers incur a $10 administrative fee.
- Transfers between different program types (e.g., from a workshop to a seasonal challenge) are not permitted and require cancellation and new registration.
